"Got it the other day...plugged it in last night and does that thing rip...Wow! I'd had a sound in my head forever (big overdriven marshall but really transparent)...the Red Camel nailed it.

I'll hook you up with feedback now."

-Dan G. Auction winner/Owner of Red Camel #004
Also gave me great feedback: item #120032625484 in my profile.

"The Red Fish octa-fuzz sound is the closest thing to the authentic Sixties fuzz tone I've heard since the Sixties, and The Red Camel just blazes, It's got the grit just right."

Davin Seay is the co-auther of San Francisco Nights: The Pyschedelic Music Trip 1965-1968, as well as biographies of Al Green, Mick Jagger and Snoop Dogg. He is currently working on a book about guitars and guitar lore with ace collector Michael Indelicato. More feedback:

"Great pedal, great service." Item #120022276857

From another email:

"hey ya, i got item. fun.. really screams in front of my lovepedal 1/2 cannibal. funny; i play bass, but i seem to like little boxes; this one sounds cool with my 6 string jerry jones."

-Tom

Tom sent me another email with a picture later:

"hey here's that red thing in action, licenses to exploit...;
I put some odd synth boxes and theremin type things as well as bass through my gear. the red box octavia type is very good, in a e 13 tbd loop, it has a real 'voice' nice job. Also the type-written given is right on
(Tom is referring to the "Tips n' Tricks booklet that comes with The Red Fish), like 'other ' organic, pedals; this one is not all about turning all knobs to the right.

thanks again, tom

Tom C. Auction winner/Owner of a Red Fish Oct n' Fuzz

James C., Red Camel owner. (item #120038097416)

For this one, I'm going to give you the the emails that I exchanged with someone who bought The Red Camel. I couldn't think of a better compliment.

Hi James,

Just wanted to confirm that you'd received your package.

Hey Matt,

Yes, I did recieve the pedal and am really enjoying it. Actually makes me want to get rid of a couple of OD/mild fuzz pedals I have.
I'll leave you some feedback shortly.

Thanks again,
James

Thanks James, Would you mind if I used an exerpt from this email on my "testamonials" page I'm making for my website?

Hey Matt,

No problem, you're more than welcome to use the quote. Mainly cause its true. Daily, I cant wait to plug in to it. I,ll keep an eye out for the PICKLE pie clips.

"What a pedal!!Creamy smooth to nasty, gritty in your face!! I've had all the boutique pedals and if this was lost or stolen I'd pay double for another!!Truly a jem!!

-Danny Jones/The Danny Jones band. After Danny won a Red Fish Octa-fuzz auction of mine, I checked out his site. I knew I had seen his name before, and then I found out he had been featured in Guitar Player Magazine, under the "Mike Varney's Spotlight" column. That was where I'd seen it! www.dannyjones.net

I just thought i would thank you for the pedal, it is great i finally found the sound in my head. The pick in the letter was like you had read my mind, those are the only ones i use. Really i am just very happy with your product and service and i thought i would let you know it, and tell you to keep up the good work.

Thanks again,

Ray

Ray T. bought one of the first 10 Red Camels. I'd have to say this is one of my favorite compliments! Thanks Ray.
